In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Group Treasury Reporting team ensuring financial information is accurate and compliant with company policies. You will also manage the day-to-day accounting tasks of Finance BV, the Group’s main financing vehicle, making sure all financial information is well-maintained and up to date. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, delivering them on time with precision. IN THIS EXCITING ROLE YOU WILL: • Generate accounting records regarding treasury transactions for Finance BV, the Group’s main financing vehicle and ensure accuracy of the entity’s results/financial position for Group reporting purposes.• Support the preparation of Annual Report &amp; Press Release notes and perform related work as required.• Actively participate in Treasury Reporting initiatives/projects to facilitate business needs.• Participate in the Business Plan and Rolling Estimate process, for both Finance BV and the Group.• Collaborate closely with Shared Service Center and other functions in connection with relevant financial reporting activities.• Participate in the preparation of ad-hoc and regular reporting requirements of the Treasury Reporting team.• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and maintaining appropriate ICF documentation. As&nbsp;Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Participate in the Financial Reporting process at Entity and Group level in accordance with the IFRS standards (including the new accounting standards IFRS 17 “Insurance contracts” and IFRS 9 “Financial Instruments”). The key responsibilities of the Financial Transformation Advisor&nbsp;will include:<ul><li>Understand and record of Finance Processes for Finance Transformation assessments</li><li>Recommend improvement opportunities in Finance processes affecting Business Operating Cycles adopting emerging technologies for an end-to-end optimization</li><li>Design management Dashboards including a set of KPIs, understanding CFO’s needs and agenda topics for instant and useful information</li><li>Participate in chart of accounts design and hierarchies and provide experience in Financial Statements line items</li><li>Participate in the design of costing models including cost pools, principles, rules of allocating expenses and management reporting presentation for results</li><li>Collect, assimilate, and analyze financial data, using standard tools and data visualizations</li><li>Design the controlling framework, including financial planning and analytics (FP&amp;A) and budgeting,</li><li>Compile, analyze, and report economic and industry data to help clients make informed decisions</li><li>Prepare detailed presentations and marketing material for client presentations</li><li>Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members</li><li>Manage own work against project plan to ensure a superior client experience</li></ul>To be successful at this role you need the following&nbsp;(hard and soft skills):<ul><li>Minimum 1-3 years of relevant professional experience</li><li>A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field/ discipline providing experience in :</li><li>Finance processes analysis and reengineering</li><li>IFRS standards implementation</li><li>Financial Statements understanding and management reporting requirements</li><li>Cash flow and working capital requirements</li><li>Costing principles</li><li>ACCA/ACA qualifications courses or ΙΕΣΟΕΛ / ΜΕΤΚΕΛ postgraduate qualifications (in progress or completed) will be considered as an asset</li><li>Knowledge in Finance systems (ERPs or BI tools)</li><li>Commitment to providing quality work and building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues</li><li>Experience of working with multiple clients</li><li>Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals</li><li>Effective communication and rapport building skills</li><li>Excellent analysis and data reporting skills</li><li>A good coaching and mentoring skills for younger team members</li><li>Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions</li><li>A customer-centric approach</li><li>An extremely high work ethic and critical thinking</li><li>Motivation for career progression and development</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</li></ul> What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards!
