Conduct performance, operational, financial and compliance audit identifying risks and proposing recommendations.Audit assignment objectives: review and provide advices on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment over MSC Agencies business process in accordance with the requirements of Group Business owners and objectives. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the financial management of the company, overseeing both finance and accounting functions.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Preparing and maintaining accurate monthly financial reports (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)</li><li>Supporting the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis</li><li>Conducting cost and profitability analysis by product, category, and channel</li><li>Coordinating with internal departments to gather, reconcile, and analyze financial data</li><li>Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of KPIs and financial performance metrics</li><li>Preparing financial models to support strategic and operational decisions</li><li>Collaborating with the accounting team for month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and completeness</li><li>Contributing to the definition and implementation of internal financial controls and procedures</li><li>Participating in the development of dashboards and reports that enhance financial visibility across departments</li><li>Liaising with external auditors and preparing required audit documentation</li><li>Overseeing basic treasury operations, including payment scheduling and bank reconciliations, while ensuring proper approval workflows</li><li>Supporting ERP-related projects and improvements in the financial reporting structure</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; Master’s degree is a plus</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in financial controlling or related roles, ideally in commercial or trading companies</li><li>Proven experience working in financial reporting and budgeting processes</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems – experience with EpsilonNet is preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP and interaction with external accounting firms</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort with data analysis and report building</li><li>Fluent in Greek with professional-level English communication skills</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Detail-oriented and structured thinker</li><li>Discreet, ethical, and trustworthy</li><li>Solution-driven with a process mindset</li><li>Able to communicate clearly across teams</li><li>Proactive, reliable, and hands-on</li></ul>
