💼 Your everyday work-life  Monitor demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation (Product family, SKU)  for multiple time horizons (Daily, weekly, Monthly) Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results Evaluate and challenges sales & promotional activity plans with the commercial team in order to achieve accurate forecasting results & optimized purchasing plans Monitor and report on key variations/changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies Develop inventory policies and plan store product replenishment in order to maintain high customer service, while meeting brand inventory targets and reducing excess and obsolete stock Support management with risk assessments and mitigation action plans and activities Assume direct responsibility for the S&OP demand & supply planning process of a consensus company forecast for assigned categories Initiate and lead the development of short and long-term replenishment plan to balance the demand forecast with cost, efficiency and capacity constraints. Job’s Purpose  As a Junior Category Manager, you will be a member of Commerce team, who will be involved in all aspects of sourcing and category management portfolio and other relevant projects to maximize performance and profitability for the assigned categories. The role actively contributes in strategic category management to thrive in variety, quality, and value according to AB’s high business standards.   What you will focus on   Participate in the formation of the composition of variety of products, by focusing on improving efficiency and satisfying the needs of customers Conduct market analysis and monitor the price level for products of your responsibility in relation to competition to identify emerging trends and opportunities for growth Monitor the performance of the products in your liability categories, from all shops (retail, wholesale, franchise) Maintain products’ intended level of competence, by being on top of your category products stock Negotiate with suppliers regarding products for the whole stores network, and ensure buying high quality products under the best possible terms Be involved in the configuration and maintenance of the action plan in your liability category Participate in the design and implementation of your category promotional plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams What you bring BSc in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or any relevant field. MSc would be considered an asset Working experience 2 to 4 years, in relevant position in the FMCG sector (preferably food) or product management category. Experience in fresh products will be considered an asset.
