The key responsibilities of this role will include:<ul><li>Implementing&nbsp;accounting principles into business solutions, in alignment with the client’s needs and strategic priorities</li><li>Participating in a broad range of&nbsp;insurance advisory-related projects, covering every aspect of the insurance business, from regulatory requirements to key strategic implementations and business transformation ones</li><li>Interacting on a frequent basis with stakeholders, to ensure the delivery of services of the highest quality standards</li><li>Working collaboratively with professionals from other divisions and areas, inside and outside the organization, in order to provide holistic services to clients and meet their needs</li><li>Depending the induction level of the candidate, the position’s responsibilities will include the project planning, management, fieldwork execution and review, the project completion procedures, as well as the preparation and delivery of relevant presentation to clients</li></ul>The key requirements of this role are:<ul><li>Experience in implementing&nbsp;accounting standards.</li><li>Experience in projects related to the implementation of&nbsp;IFRS 17 standards, including providing ongoing support to insurance companies, both locally and internationally.</li><li>A proven background in insurance accounting and reporting, with a minimum of&nbsp;2 years of experience in an insurance company and/or consulting firm.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented approach.</li><li>Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks across different teams with the appropriate level of support.</li><li>Experience in the implementation of accounting standards&nbsp;</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English, both written and oral</li><li>Excellent skills in MS Office; Word, Excel, Power Point</li></ul>What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards! The Role in Detail<ul><li>Supporting the execution of a variety of financial advisory projects, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A), valuations, debt and equity financing, and financial restructuring.</li><li>Assisting in the preparation of financial models, business valuations, and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business planning.</li><li>Conducting financial analysis and industry research to provide insights on market trends, competitive landscapes, and investment opportunities.</li><li>Contributing to the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and information memorandums for clients and investors.</li><li>Collaborating with senior team members in developing strategic recommendations and solutions tailored to clients' financial and operational needs.</li><li>Engaging with clients, investors, banks, and other stakeholders to gather relevant financial and strategic information.</li><li>Proactively seeking challenges and opportunities to build on your strengths, expand your skills, and learn from team members in a supportive and collaborative environment.</li></ul>What You'll bring:<ul><li>0-2 years’ experience in in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related fields.
