What you'll do
- Prepare pastry items according to recipes and hotel standards
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow sanitation practices
- Manage inventory by stocking and sorting ingredients
- Complete daily prep tasks, including measuring, mixing, and baking
- Collaborate with the pastry team on timely dessert production and presentation
- Apply and develop pastry techniques and dessert presentation skills
- Support the team during busy service periods and handle additional tasks
Key requirements
- Pastry preparation, pastry techniques, and baking techniques
- Knowledge of ingredients, measuring and mixing, and baking
- Food safety and sanitation
- Inventory management and workstation organization
- Recipe adherence and kitchen operations
- Dessert presentation
