What you'll do
- Assist with preparing pastry items according to recipes and hotel standards
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow sanitation practices
- Manage inventory by stocking and sorting ingredients
- Complete daily prep tasks, including measuring, mixing, and baking
- Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure timely dessert production and presentation
- Learn and apply pastry techniques and dessert presentations
- Support the team during busy service periods and handle additional tasks as needed
Key requirements
- Pastry preparation, baking, and baking techniques
- Knowledge of ingredients, measuring and mixing, and recipe adherence
- Food safety and sanitation
- Inventory management and ingredient stocking and sorting
- Workstation organization and kitchen operations
- Team collaboration and fast-paced service support
