What you'll do
- Prepare pastry items according to recipes and hotel standards
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow sanitation practices
- Manage inventory by stocking and sorting ingredients
- Complete daily prep tasks, including measuring, mixing, and baking
- Collaborate with the pastry team to ensure timely dessert production and presentation
- Apply and develop pastry techniques and dessert presentations
- Support the team during busy service periods and complete additional assigned tasks
Key requirements
- Pastry preparation, baking, and basic baking techniques
- Measuring and mixing, ingredient knowledge, and recipe adherence
- Food safety and sanitation
- Inventory management and food ingredient stocking
- Workstation organization and kitchen operations
- Pastry techniques and dessert presentation
