What you'll do
- Prepare meals as ordered
- Prepare food items to high standards of taste, temperature and presentation
- Assist with meal preparation by mixing, stirring, ladling and adjusting heat
- Clean work areas and kitchen utensils
- Prepare mise en place for the following day
- Assist at other kitchen stations as assigned by the Chef
- Collect required items from the main kitchen
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting repairs or maintenance needs
- Follow organisational policies and procedures
