What you'll do
- Prepare ingredients by cleaning and cutting vegetables, meats, and fish
- Adhere strictly to hygiene and food safety regulations during preparation and storage
- Support chefs by assisting in frying, grilling, boiling and simple cooking procedures
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization throughout the shift
- Store raw materials properly to preserve quality and monitor stock levels
- Coordinate with kitchen team members and report equipment or supply issues
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Ingredient preparation and stock management
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of English language
