What you'll do
- Prepare and cook diverse dishes focusing on quality, taste, and presentation using standardized recipes
- Monitor food quality throughout cooking and adjust seasonings as needed
- Collaborate with Head or Executive Chef to develop and execute seasonal and special menus
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Mentor and train junior cooks and kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow food safety regulations
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Advanced cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Adherence to food safety standards and kitchen operations
- Creativity in developing dishes and adapting menus
- Mentoring and training skills for junior kitchen staff
- Strong communication skills and English language proficiency
- Organizational skills and time management
- Computer literacy including MS Office
- Culinary Artspreferred
