What you'll do
- Greet and escort guests professionally and positively
- Oversee guest flow throughout the restaurant
- Manage reservations and the shift team
- Plan and prioritize tasks to balance workload and handle urgent situations promptly
- Maintain service quality while meeting cost targets
- Coordinate communication between kitchen and floor staff
- Maintain the restaurant’s ambience, cleanliness and hygiene
- Handle guest queries and complaints proactively
- Advise guests on menu and beverage choices
- Coordinate guests’ special occasion arrangements
- Promote in-house events such as wine dinners, cocktails and tasting sessions
Key requirements
- Food and beverage knowledge, including wine and cocktail knowledge
- Guest relations, complaint handling and restaurant reservations management
- Team leadership, communication and presentation skills
- Service quality management and cost awareness
- Menu and beverage advising
- English fluency, with sales and promotion skills
- Hospitality Managementpreferred
