The primary scope of this role is to manage the daily maintenance activities to maximize production equipment availability, as well as supervise all maintenance personnel assigned to the shift in a safe working environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan, organize and schedule mechanical maintenance inspections, assessments and evaluations including spare part audits</li><li>Supervise execution of work orders ensuring safety, quality, and timeliness of work</li><li>Assign employees as necessary to maximize availability of production equipment and efficiency</li><li>Stay abreast of daily information related to maintenance and production issues at plant (work request, production/maintenance meetings)</li><li>Coordinate planning &amp; implementing preventive &amp; breakdown maintenance schedules for improving overall reliability and safety; ensure availability of labor, parts, services, etc. for their execution</li><li>Make recommendations for improvements and elaborate execution plan</li><li>Plan for spares and inventory control to achieve reduction in spares and manpower cost for mechanical equipment with view to maintain quality maintenance practices</li><li>Prepare written instructions, guidelines, and procedures for mechanical maintenance tasks</li><li>Maintain and promote strict adherence to all safety rules, regulations, and company policies; ensure that safety precautions are followed during installation, maintenance, and operation of mechanical equipment</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications<ul><li>Degree in Mechanical Engineering</li><li>5 years of working experience in a similar position is required in a manufacturing, industrial or construction setting</li><li>Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices of machinery and other plant equipment</li><li>Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results-oriented</li><li>Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines</li><li>Communication with internal and external parties in a collaborative, positive manner</li><li>Critical thinking and creative, problem-solving skills</li><li>Able to quickly adapt and learn</li><li>Team player and solid interpersonal skills</li><li>Written and verbal communication skills both in Greek &amp; English language</li><li>Military Service fulfilled (if applicable)</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>Private health insurance</li><li>Pension plan</li><li>Annual checkup</li><li>Performance bonus</li><li>Prepaid cards for supermarket</li><li>Learning and Development opportunities</li><li>Internships and summer schools for employee children</li><li>Wellness programs and special offers</li></ul>
