Steelmet S.A., the corporate services arm of the Viohalco Group, is seeking a visionary PMO Senior Manager to restructure and elevate an existing PMO function. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of transforming project execution from "medium maturity" to a center of excellence. You will drive governance, standardize methodologies, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across IT, Operations, HR, and Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
PMO Transformation: Redefine and mature PMO methodologies, processes, and tools to align with industry best practices and organizational strategy.
Portfolio Governance: Oversee the entire project portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment, optimal resource allocation, and strict financial control.
Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 3-5 Project Managers, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Execution & Standards: Drive the adoption of standard methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and optimize the use of tools, specifically ServiceNow.
Visibility: Implement comprehensive dashboards to provide real-time insights into project health, risks, and value realization for senior stakeholders.
Risk Management: Establish robust risk mitigation strategies across the portfolio to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10-15 years in project/program management, with at least 5 years in a PMO Leadership role (Head of PMO/Manager).
Track Record: Demonstrated success in restructuring or significantly maturing an existing PMO.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Certification: PMP or PRINCE2, PgMP is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software; experience with ServiceNow SPM is highly desirable.
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset focused on driving transparency and accountability.
Languages: Fluent in English and Greek.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale capital expenditure projects.
Familiarity with ERP implementation projects (e.g., SAP).
Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.

Our industrial facilities in Bucharest, Romania produce a wide product portfolio which includes cables for indoor installations, power, control, industrial applications, low and medium voltage, are-retardant, are-resistant and halogen-free cables, mine cables, marine and special-requirement cables, telecommunication cables, signaling, remote control and data transmission cables, as well as plastic and rubber compounds.
