Our brands are used by hundreds of thousands of users and growingTo sum it up: you will be taking our Gaming platform, which is used by a worldwide audience, to a new level! &nbsp;Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions using PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, OpenSearch, and Elasticsearch.</li><li>Improve query performance through query refactoring, schema redesign, and fine-tuning of data layer service configurations.</li><li>Create optimal data models for new services and enhance existing ones to support scalability, reliability, and maintainability.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to negotiate and deliver technical solutions in a highly collaborative environment.</li><li>Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous integration/deployment.</li><li>Implement monitoring solutions and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and data-related issues.</li></ul>You are good at<ul><li>Proven experience with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, OpenSearch, and Elasticsearch.</li><li>Strong understanding of query optimization, indexing strategies, and data schema design.</li><li>Experience with data layer configuration tuning for performance and reliability.</li><li>Solid background in data modeling for both OLTP and OLAP systems.</li><li>Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of driving consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li></ul>Extra awesome<ul><li>Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL, MongoDB Atlas).</li><li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).</li></ul>&nbsp;What we offerMuch like riding a rollercoaster, sometimes life at Betsson can be lightning fast with twists and turns but always FUN!
