As a Shipping Operator in Trafigura, you will have the opportunity to join a team that manages one of the world’s largest Time Charter fleets in the world, handling all aspects of Time Charter vessel operations for the company. Shipping Operator

The Freight Rate Filing Employee is responsible for accurately filing ocean freight rates as agreed between the customer and MSC for specific transportation routes. This involves entering the information into our centralized database using our internal TMS application, streamlining the billing process for enhanced client convenience. Freight Rate Filing Employee

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Communicates to Masters Voyage instructions, port requirements, local regulations, cargo requirements and precautions, ship’s charter party description and applicable clauses.</li><li>Checks&nbsp;cargo docs, LOIs, bunker requirements and authorizes bunker invoices.</li><li>Issues voyage instructions, ship’s cargo holds preparation instructions and Monitors ship’s cargo holds condition and preparation.</li><li>Communicates with charterers via broking channels.</li><li>Monitors the actual day-to-day performance and financial expenditure of the vessels.</li><li>Coordinates with Chartering department in describing vessel’s particular characteristics and reviews Charter Party clauses.</li><li>Appoints cargo and bunker surveyors and port agents and arranges various services that the ship requires.
