What you'll do
- Manage and supervise operations for assigned vessels
- Maintain the operational efficiency of company vessels
- Guide Masters on voyages, charter party instructions, warranties, cargo operations and bunkering
- Oversee vessel communications, including position and operational reports
- Plan, estimate and analyse voyages at completion
- Communicate with Commercial, Technical, Freight Collection and other departments
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Shipping operations management and vessel operational efficiency
- Voyage planning, estimation and analysis
- Charter party instructions and voyage warranty management
- Cargo operations and bunkering
- Maritime communications and reporting
- English language proficiency and cross-functional communication
- Shipping and Maritime Studies / Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematicspreferred
