This role is responsible for defining product identity, vision, strategy and roadmap in alignment with the operational requirements of Armed Forces, defense ministries, and allied nation customers. It requires close collaboration with Engineering, Technical Business Development, Business Development, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure each product’s lifecycle is effectively managed, competitively positioned, and continuously optimized for the defense and security market.
What you'll do
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Scytalys’ defense product portfolio, working closely with Engineering, Technical Business Development, and Corporate Marketing, aligning product evolution with company goals and the requirements of domestic and international defense markets.
Translate defense market needs and customer operational requirements into high-level Product Requirements and provide the Technical Leader with the product’s Operational Requirements, competitive value proposition, and timeline for market readiness.
Coordinate with the Technical Leader on feature prioritization, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones while balancing scope, delivery timelines, and product quality.

Support interactions with key customers — including Armed Forces, defense ministries, prime contractors, and industry partners — and provides product-related expert advocacy in meetings, demonstrations, and defense exhibitions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related communication, both internally and externally.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute product campaigns, sales enablement materials, promotional content, and Scytalys’ presence at defense tradeshows and industry events.
Assess and use feedback from defense operators and end-users, performance analytics, and market trends to continuously improve Scytalys’ products and sharpen their positioning in international defense programs.
Assess the Return on Investment (ROI) for product development initiatives and recommend steps to align product positioning strategies with the company’s financial goals.
Conduct training sessions on Scytalys’ products for internal teams and key external stakeholders, including customer operators, maintainers, and program managers.
Lead the end-to-end product development effort, coordinating cross-functional teams to turn the roadmap into delivered, market-ready releases.
Define the release plan in coordination with the Technical Leader and monitors its progress.
