What you'll do
- Review outstanding debt across a portfolio of customers
- Reconcile accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and issue credit notes
- Negotiate customer payment plans and follow up on agreements
- Monitor invoices, payment plans, and new billings to control further credit exposure
- Assess customer credit risk and maintain up-to-date finance system records
- Collaborate with Sales, Services, and Finance teams to support a seamless customer experience
- Prepare reports on aged debt, collections progress, and cash flow forecasts
- Support month-end closing and process improvements to improve collection efficiency and monitoring
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Credit control, accounts receivable, and collections
- Account reconciliation, billing discrepancy resolution, and credit note processing
- Credit risk assessment and payment plan negotiation
- Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting systems
- Financial reporting and cash flow forecasting
- Month-end closing and process improvement
