What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day operations of front office, housekeeping, guest services, and reservations
- Monitor room availability, occupancy, and rates; implement yield management strategies
- Maintain high guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and resolving issues
- Upsell room upgrades and additional services to drive incremental revenue
- Recruit, train, and develop front office and housekeeping teams; conduct performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards; implement emergency procedures
- Oversee use of PMS and reservations systems and ensure staff training for full utilization
- Prepare and present regular reports on occupancy, revenue, staffing, and guest satisfaction to leadership
- Act as liaison between rooms division and other departments
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency with property management systems, especially Opera PMS, and other hotel-related software
- English language proficiency
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and crisis management procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality Management / Business Administration / Related Fieldpreferred
