What you'll do
- Welcome guests and seat them according to preferences or special needs
- Maintain visibility on the restaurant floor to ensure efficient service and address guest concerns
- Provide guests information on menu items, specials, and promotions and encourage upselling
- Lead and manage restaurant operations including staffing levels and inventory control
- Conduct shift briefings to inform staff on VIPs, special occasions, and food allergies
- Implement procedures for food and beverage quality control, presentation, and service
- Encourage and appraise staff performance and provide feedback
- Train, motivate, coach, and discipline employees following brand standards
- Evaluate and assign responsibilities to staff based on abilities
- Help manage staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage
- Assist in preparing reports on sales, labor costs, and customer feedback
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Hospitality management and supervisory skills
- Customer service skills and communication skills
- Food safety standards knowledge, sanitation regulations knowledge, and kitchen procedures knowledge
- English language proficiency and MS Office proficiency
- Team training and development and performance management
- Planning and organizational skills and multitasking under pressure
- Upselling techniques
- Hospitality Management / Business Administration / Restaurant Management / Culinary Arts / Related Fieldpreferred
