What you'll do
- Prepare a wide variety of pastry items following traditional and modern recipes
- Create new and exciting desserts to refresh menus and attract customers
- Decorate sweets using various types of glazing and coatings to ensure attractive appearance
- Monitor stock of key materials like flour and sugar and place appropriate orders within budget
- Control quality of materials, equipment, and devices used in preparation
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and comply with health and safety standards
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Pastry preparation and sweet decoration skills
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures
- Quality control of materials and equipment
- Inventory and order tracking
- Knowledge of English
- Adaptability and team spirit and cooperation
- Professionalism and good appearance and cleanliness
- Culinary Arts
