What you'll do
- Prepare a wide variety of pastries using traditional and modern recipes
- Create new and appealing desserts to refresh menus and attract customer interest
- Decorate desserts with different glazes and toppings for an attractive presentation
- Monitor core ingredient stock and place appropriate orders within budget
- Check ingredient quality and the condition of pastry equipment and appliances
- Keep your workstation clean and organized while following health and safety standards
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Pastry preparation and dessert creation
- Dessert decoration
- Ingredient quality control
- Inventory management
- Pastry equipment use
- Hygiene and safety procedures; English language
- Culinary Arts
