What you'll do
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping team members
- Coordinate work schedules and assign cleaning tasks
- Monitor team performance to ensure efficiency and quality
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate hotel policies
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and appearance
- Maintain records of inspections and identify improvement areas
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking with suppliers
- Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints related to housekeeping
- Collaborate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and sanitation guidelines
- Conduct training on safe cleaning practices, chemical handling, and emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory usage, and staff attendance
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Leadership and team management skills
