What you'll do
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to meet cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards
- Supervise housekeeping team members and coordinate cleaning schedules
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping staff
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate hotel policies
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and appearance
- Maintain records of inspections and identify improvement areas
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking with suppliers
- Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints
- Collaborate with front desk, maintenance, and other departments
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Conduct training on safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
- Maintain accurate housekeeping records including schedules and attendance
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Team management and supervisory experience in housekeeping
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and equipment use
- Scheduling, coordination, and inventory management skills
- Health and safety compliance and training abilities
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving capabilities
- English language proficiency
- Hospitalitypreferred
