What you'll do
- Supervise housekeeping team members and coordinate cleaning schedules
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping staff
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate hotel policies
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and quality
- Maintain records of inspections and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Conduct training on safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
- Maintain accurate housekeeping records including schedules and inventory
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Housekeeping supervision and team management
- Cleaning procedures and chemical handling knowledge
- Health and safety compliance and training
- Inventory management and scheduling coordination
- Guest service and communication skills
- Planning, prioritization, and problem solving abilities
