What you'll do
- Deliver contractual ship management services in line with customer agreements and required standards
- Support Masters and Chief Engineers on safety, maintenance, drydock planning, equipment, and non-routine repairs
- Communicate with clients on technical, operational, and budgetary matters
- Monitor machinery, equipment performance, and maintenance execution
- Develop and monitor maintenance, repair, and drydocking plans within approved budgets
- Prepare, control, and report technical and OPEX budgets
- Maintain valid vessel certification and compliance with maritime legislation
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on vessel visits, inspections, audits, and surveys
- Coach and support shipboard personnel, including performance reviews and interviews
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Ship management and technical oversight
- LNG vessel operations and vessel maintenance management
- Drydock planning and machinery and equipment performance monitoring
- Maritime legislation and regulatory compliance and maritime safety management
- Technical and OPEX budgeting and vessel inspections, audits, and surveys
- Problem-solving, computer literacy, and English language proficiency
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Marine Engineering / Naval Architecturepreferred
