What you'll do
- Manage and monitor the performance of third-party Technical Managers for the owned fleet
- Oversee vessel technical matters and coordinate with Technical Managers on procurement and supply monitoring
- Provide technical expertise and support for newbuilding programmes and existing fleet technology development
- Analyse and document ongoing technical issues and apply lessons learned to future projects
- Conduct OPEX analysis and benchmarking
- Lead dry-dock planning and manage fleet retrofit projects including equipment installations
- Conduct regular vessel attendance and lead dry-dock preparation, specification development, and supervision
- Evaluate vessel repair requests reviewing costs, timelines, and quality standards
Key requirements
- Marine and technical expertise including vessel inspections and vetting
- Project management skills with collaborative teamwork
- Technical management operations and marine systems outfitting and integration
- Risk assessment in technical points and technical/commercial coordination
- Newbuilding program management and crew recruitment and crewing strategy
- OPEX analysis and benchmarking, dry dock planning, and fleet retrofit project management
- Financial performance reporting and procurement and supply monitoring
- Fluent English communication
- Marine Engineering / Naval Architecturepreferred
