What you'll do
- Assist guests and answer questions about the wine list
- Recommend wines based on guests’ tastes and food choices
- Handle guest requests and complaints effectively
- Pair and explain wines with the tasting menu
- Update the wine list with the Wine Director
- Monitor cellar conditions to ensure optimal storage
- Recommend food and wine pairings
Key requirements
- Wine knowledge, WSET Level 3 and knowledge of local vineyards and wineries
- English language proficiency and guest service
- Food and wine pairing and wine recommendation
- Wine list management and cellar management
- Wine sales and upselling
- Food and beverage technology and organizational skills
