What you'll do
- Manage and coordinate food labeling and packaging artwork projects through final approval
- Check label information for accuracy and compliance with food legislation and customer requirements
- Verify ingredients, allergens, nutritional declarations, QUID, product names, storage conditions, and mandatory information
- Manage artwork changes and corrections
- Coordinate with internal departments, customers, and external partners or printers
- Track project progress and timelines
- Check soft proofs before final print approval
- Manage and archive approved label and artwork versions
- Use and monitor projects through Lidl Wave where required
Key requirements
- 1+ years' experience
- Food labeling legislation: European food labeling legislation and Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011
- Label compliance: Food label checking, ingredient and allergen verification, nutritional declaration verification, and QUID verification
- Artwork coordination: Labeling project management and packaging artwork coordination
- Quality control: Soft proof checking and change and correction management
- Project administration: Timeline tracking and approved version archiving
- Tools and language: Lidl Wave and English
- Food Technology / Food Science and Technology / Any Fieldpreferred
