What you'll do
- Perform initial visual, materials and labeling inspections and prepare panels for testing
- Check panels against technical specifications and electrical layouts
- Test panel operation under live and no-load conditions
- Make minor corrections or return panels to production for major modifications
- Update quality control records and report findings to the Quality Control Supervisor
- Collaborate closely with trainees and production technicians
- Archive panel inspection certificates and forward them to the Project Engineer
- Complete non-conforming materials forms and forward materials to the Warehouse Officer
- File photos of manufactured panels in project folders
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Electrical diagrams & layouts: reading complex electrical and automation diagrams; technical specifications and electrical layouts
- Testing & troubleshooting: use of measuring instruments and equipment; debugging methodology; live and no-load testing
- Quality control: electrical panel quality control; materials and labeling inspection
- Documentation: quality documentation and records management; non-conforming materials management
- Tools: DOC, CAT, Rapsody, Ecodial, XL Pro 3
