Intellectica is seeking a motivated&nbsp;Payroll Specialist&nbsp;to join the Accounting &amp; Tax team of an established advisory firm based in Piraeus, Attiki, Greece. Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a portfolio of clients across the construction sector and other small-to-medium enterprises, supporting day-to-day operations and client requests.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Processing monthly payroll for assigned clients, including salary calculations, deductions, social security contributions, income tax (ΦΜΥ), and ΑΠΔ submissions, ensuring compliance and accuracy</li><li>Entering employee data (new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses) into payroll systems</li><li>Reviewing and checking payroll results and reports before final submission</li><li>Supporting year-end payroll tasks and statutory filings</li><li>Providing clients with payroll forms and updates when needed</li><li>Answering client questions on payroll processes, local legislation, and best practices</li><li>Working closely with external platforms and partners (e.g., Epsilon Pylon &amp; Data)</li><li>Using local systems like ERGANI for employee declarations and other procedures</li><li>Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation</li><li>Staying informed about changes in payroll rules and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a University or Technological Educational Institute; HR qualifications are also welcome</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in payroll ideally in an outsourcing or client-facing environment</li><li>Hands-on experience with&nbsp;ERP systems&nbsp;such as EpsilonNet, or similar payroll platforms</li><li>Proficiency in ERGANI&nbsp;and strong knowledge of Greek labor laws</li><li>Experience with multinational clients is a strong plus</li><li>Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail, consistently maintaining high standards in documentation and error-checking</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate good time management</li><li>High level of confidentiality and professionalism</li><li>Team player with a collaborative mindset</li><li>Adaptability and problem-solving abilities</li></ul>
