About the job
We are looking for a highly skilled Sustainability & Compliance Officer to join our team.
Duties and responsibilities:
Monitor and implement CBAM Reporting with a particular focus on imported construction and metallic materials
Manage the ESG procurement strategy and support the organization’s compliance with future CSRD requirements
Ensure alignment with EVER (European Environmental Sustainability Regulations) across procurement processes
Monitor Building Sustainability & Timber/Bio-based Standards (BSTB)
Design and maintain a Supplier Evaluation System including KPIs, ESG scoring, and audit processes
Collect ESG and EU Taxonomy data from suppliers and subcontractors to support regulatory reporting
Develop procurement policies, procedures and operational manuals
Collaborate effectively with the Environmental, Finance, and Legal departments
Job qualifications and requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Civil) or in Economics, with strong ESG and Compliance knowledge
Proven experience in key sustainability frameworks, including ESG reporting, CSRD requirements, LCA (Life Cycle Assessment), CBAM and EU Taxonomy
2 years experience in procurement compliance, supplier auditing processes and subject reporting standards
Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and subcontracting processes
Excellent command of MS-Office Suite
Proficiency in English (both oral and written)
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
