Business Performance Manager

The successful candidate will play an integral role in reviewing accounting entries, preparing financial statements, and processing monthly and annual tax returns.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Manage client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounting and tax matters</li><li>Reviewing journal entries (Category C books), preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Greek GAAP</li><li>Prepare monthly and annual tax returns, including VAT and income tax, utilizing internal systems for efficient reporting and client access</li><li>Conduct regular client meetings to discuss performance and provide advice</li><li>Utilize accounting software to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, providing proactive advice to clients.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions</li><li>Any other tasks that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelors’ degree in Accounting from a University or Technological Educational Institute; Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications are a plus</li><li>At least 3 years of experience in accounting &amp; tax advisory services</li><li>Proficiency in Greek GAAP, with exposure to IFRS being desired</li><li>Extensive experience in tax processing</li><li>Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting softwares</li><li>Fluent in Greek and English</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Strong attention to detail, consistently maintaining high standards in documentation and error-checking</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>High degree of self-motivation and strong career aspiration</li><li>Strong commitment to providing an excellent quality service</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate good time management</li></ul>
