Our Client is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to serve as the Department Head for their core infrastructure and software delivery platforms. This role requires a seasoned engineer who bridges the gap between software development and operational reality, possessing deep expertise in managing hybrid environments that span both modern cloud infrastructure and complex on-premises deployments. Understanding the networking complexities of hybrid connectivity is essential. • Database &amp; Scripting: Experience with automated provisioning and configuration of relational and/or NoSQL databases. You will be responsible for processing data in Big Data environments (structured, unstructured and semi-structured) in order to prepare them for further analysis by Data Scientists.&nbsp;What you will be doing&nbsp;• &nbsp; &nbsp;Collaboration and guidance from Data Custodian in projects which relate to the quality of Data. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Collaboration with Database Developers to implement automated and efficient processes, developing queries on SQL platform. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Collect data from different sources (database, files etc.) for quality and accuracy cotrol. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Data transformation and result analysis with the use of statistical method (data profing). • &nbsp; &nbsp;Development and implementation of scripts for data management and data quality processes. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Design and development of procedures for long-term data storage and retrieval of various data solutions in collaboration with source code engineers and end-to-end solution designers. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Understand the dynamics of the data involved and the processes that lead to storage or retrieval.&nbsp;What you need to have&nbsp;• &nbsp; &nbsp;Α Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field required. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English. • &nbsp; &nbsp;At least one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience working as Data Engineer. • &nbsp; &nbsp;At least one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience working directly with software development teams. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Relevant experience in Test Management, Defect Management and Business Objects. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of SQL, ETL Tools (SSIS, IBM Data Stage), RDBS (Netezza, SQL Server). • &nbsp; &nbsp;Understanding of project management and software development cycle. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Knowledge of business processes in Banking • &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong communication and collaboration skills. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Solid analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.What we offer&nbsp;It’s all about our people.
