SCYTALYS&nbsp;is currently looking for a skilled&nbsp;Software Engineer&nbsp;passionate about their field of work.&nbsp;(Responsibilities) About the role / What you can expect:&nbsp;<ul><li>Perform detailed analyses of task(s) requirements</li><li>Write software development documents in accordance with the Company’s Engineering Documentation Standards</li><li>Code software in accordance with the Company’s Software Development and Coding Standards</li><li>Test and debug software (standalone test environment) with predefined test cases and verify predicted performance, memory, processor, and other requirements identified as requirements for the software</li><li>Integrate software (Company designed and purchased) with other software to form a complete system or enhance system capabilities and performance</li><li>Support test teams through the system integration and acceptance test phases</li><li>Advise Company management regarding perceived and/or recognized problems with performance of designed software and/or system development</li><li>Support installation and check-out on-site and hotline service or warranty/upgrade works at the installed systems</li><li>Should the need arise, work towards your team’s goals carrying out tasks that may befall outside your field of expertise as best as you can</li></ul>&nbsp;Required Skills:&nbsp;<ul><li>BSc or equivalent in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field</li><li>Software programming skills in&nbsp;Java 8 and Java 11 (C/C++ knowledge desirable)</li><li>At least 3 years of professional experience in systems programming and the development of native applications using Java 8 or 11, Java Swing GUI development and good understanding of TCP/IP, UDP/IP networking.</li><li>Ability to read technical specifications, identify requirements, and provide software design to satisfy these requirements</li><li>Ability to work on Windows and Linux systems and perform basic administration / automation tasks (e.g., shell scripting to create / debug installation and configuration scripts etc.)</li><li>Good knowledge of Computer networking concepts and devices</li><li>Solid understanding of XML and JSON</li><li>Good knowledge of SQL, and experience with RDBMSs (SQLite, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis)</li><li>Application compile, debugging, profiling, and optimization</li><li>Good interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team</li></ul>&nbsp;We offer:<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package</li><li>Ticket vouchers</li><li>Private Medical Insurance package</li><li>Continuous learning in new technologies</li><li>Opportunity to work in large-scale projects with talented people</li></ul>
