The successful candidate will report directly to senior management and play a pivotal role in driving sales strategies, achieving business objectives in retail sales operations, and expanding B2B channels.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies that drive both retail and B2B revenue streams</li><li>Ensuring alignment with corporate goals and proactively adjust plans based on market trends and performance analysis</li><li>Leading and overseeing the entire sales process, from initial customer inquiries and leading generation to negotiation, closing deals, and post-sales engagement</li><li>Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the leasing and corporate fleet sales sector</li><li>Establishing strategic partnerships with businesses, car rental companies, and fleet operators to expand the company’s presence in the corporate market</li><li>Supervising, mentoring, and supporting a sales team of eight professionals; setting performance objectives, providing regular training and coaching, and fostering a culture of high performance, teamwork, and customer service excellence</li><li>Analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales targets, revenue growth, customer acquisition rates, and conversion metrics</li><li>Working closely with marketing teams to develop targeted sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement</li><li>Keeping up to date with market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences to maintain a competitive edge</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field</li><li>Relevant certifications in sales methodologies or techniques are a strong advantage</li><li>At least 5 years of experience in sales roles, including a minimum of two years in a managerial capacity</li><li>Experience in the automotive industry with a proven track record in both retail and B2B sales</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with ERP and CRM systems</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken)</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and data</li><li>Strong capability to establish business networks and approach new customers</li><li>Self-motivated, results oriented and ambitious</li><li>Strong ability to handle pressure and deadlines with attention to detail</li><li>Strong sales planning skills with a focus on identifying customer needs and challenges</li></ul>
