- Μαθητοκεντρική διδακτική προσέγγιση
- Διοίκηση μαθημάτων
- Αγγλική προφορική και γραπτή επικοινωνία

Περιγραφή Θέσης
The Department of Social Sciences of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece seeks a part-time instructor for its Sociology Program.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach face-to-face undergraduate level courses in:
Sociology of Globalization
Collective Action and Social Movements
And introductory courses
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Sociology, preferably with specialization on Political Sociology
At least one degree from a US or UK-accredited institution
Teaching experience in Sociology preferably at a US, UK, or other English-speaking higher education institution.
Active research record and publications (a record of grant funding for relevant projects will be appreciated)
Eligibility for Hellenic Ministry of Education registration number.
General Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as a part of a team.
Commitment to a student-centered, interactive approach to teaching and learning
Course administrative and organizational skills
Ability to initiate curricular development and deliver effective teaching
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
