- Εκτενής πρακτική και θεωρητική γνώση στη Στατιστική και Ανάλυση Δεδομένων για μαθήματα Στατιστικής
- Εκτενής πρακτική και θεωρητική γνώση στον Λογισμό για μαθήματα Μαθηματικών
- Πρακτική εμπειρία σε Excel και δεξιότητες προγραμματισμού σε Python, R ή Matlab
- Άριστη προφορική και γραπτή επικοινωνία στα Αγγλικά
- Δέσμευση σε μαθητοκεντρική μάθηση
- Ισχυρές διαπροσωπικές δεξιότητες και ικανότητα ανεξάρτητης και ομαδικής εργασίας
- Mathematics / Statisticsκατά προτίμηση
Περιγραφή Θέσης
The School of Science and Technology at Deree-The American College of Greece seeks part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Mathematics/Statistics.
Required Qualifications:
PhD in Mathematics/Statistics, preferably with at least one graduate degree from a US or a UK accredited institution.
Teaching experience, preferably at a US or a UK higher education institution.
For Statistics courses,
broad practical and theoretical knowledge in Statistics and Data Analytics,
practical experience in Excel and basic computer programming using Python, R, or others.
For other Mathematics courses,
broad practical and theoretical knowledge in Calculus,
practical experience in basic computer programming using Python, Matlab, or others.
Research record is highly desirable.
General Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.
A commitment to student-centered learning.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team on research and teaching programs.
