We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. As a Waiter/Waitress at Sumosan Athens, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service that aligns with our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.

• Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations based on guests' preferences.

• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to Manko's quality standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas throughout the dining experience.

• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, striving to enhance their overall dining experience.

• Process payments accurately and handle transactions securely.

• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for various service periods and events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-end restaurant or luxury resort setting is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverages is an advantage but not mandatory

• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems; experience with Micros is beneficial.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to providing outstanding guest
