Overview Document Ingestion is a top priority for Chubb, and we are looking for an innovative, results-oriented Quality Engineer (tester) with requisite experience and ambition to collaborate in the Document Ingestion program.   The successful candidate must have experience with the planning and implementation of data, process and automation. The candidate will be self-motivated, creative and able to independently lead the testing efforts of this major strategic initiative.  The primary responsibility of the successful candidate is to first understand the business workflows and then to translate them into an end-to-end automated testing framework. The candidate will lead the development of the framework from the inception to go-live. The automated test framework should improve the quality of our testing and our speed of delivery.     Responsibilities: Work with the business, engineering, infrastructure, other teams to understand the CHUBB technology landscape.  Understand complete document ingestion domain / business knowledge.   Build an automated test framework using internal and external tools like Selenium, Java, Python, BDD and other tools. Ensure that the framework is tightly integrated with our CI/CD pipelines.  Execute and tune performance testing.  Come up with the industry standard best practices for testing.  Ensure bug-free application delivery to production.  Qualifications Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on automation QA experience with various teams in a matrix organization  3+ years of experience or knowledge of Selenium, Java, SQL, Python.  Strong QA experience in functional and non-functional testing. Should be able to prepare and run regression deck through automation. He/she will also be tasked with implementing and aligning all necessary core technology processes as well as to attract, train, lead and inspire a group of technology professionals that will be core to Chubb’s digital transformation. The Head of CECG Engineering will be responsible for managing the engineering services and outcomes provided by CECG to the various Chubb Insurance Companies globally. He/she will establish a formal collaboration network with other Chubb Engineering Centers across the world (incl. Jersey City, Philadelphia, Monterey, India, etc.). The Head of the CECG Engineering will be responsible for ensuring an optimal organization design driving role clarity, division of labor and clear accountability of its technology functions in alignment with the Global Technology Organization. The Head of CECG engineering will pursue and establish Centers of Excellence in emerging technologies that offer value to the Global Chubb Organization. Qualifications Required Background:  The Head of CECG Engineering will be an accomplished technology executive ideally with experience in leading software development centers that service multi-regions / geographies and that has accomplished recognition of his/her work across his/her client base. The successful candidate will be well versed in contemporary technology such as cloud and digital with a successful track record implementing and managing both Agile & waterfall based organization while applying DevSecOps. He/she will be a sophisticated technologist with good understanding of architecture and engineering with outstanding planning, analytical, and conceptual skills as well as hands-on experience in IT process management. He/she will possess a keen ability to focus and collaboratively execute with proven experience integrating technology, people, and processes.  Requirements:  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. The successful candidate will support an existing application within Chubb with both existing data feeds into the application, and to set up new data feeds into the application as required. The role requires the successful candidate to be able to work with data analysts/architects, business sponsors, business analysts and the IT PM to understand fully data requirements. In addition, the successful candidate will work the IT departments to organize job scheduling, organize access to the relevant Data Marts or Databases, and to manage any related service accounts and service account password management.  Responsibilities Data Project Lifecycle administration – when adding new data feeds to the target data consumer application best practice ETL processes/standards must be followed. Scripting - able to script data extraction jobs from multiple data sources both in the AIP data platform (data marts) or directly from source system databases. Also should be able to script administration/housekeeping activities.  Data Logic - able to collate data extractions into Netezza and if required apply data manipulation logic (e.g currency conversion to USD) before loading into the target consumer database.  Optimization - able to optimize and performance tune extraction scripts.  Automation - good working knowledge of Automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible and Shell scripting Communication - good communication skills are key to the success of this role. Security Standards - working with architects & technical leads to ensure that all data security protocols are applied. Qualifications Qualifications  Degree/Baccalaureate education level.  Experience in Linux, ETL and Data administration in a corporate environment. Responsibilities: • Work with Engineering teams to standardize on the Monitoring logging framework.
