Responsibilities: Organizes and coordinates the purchasing of supplies required by the Technical and Marine, Safety & Quality Department, in an efficient and effective manner and based on the required specifications. Obtains quotations from the “approved” suppliers, prepares comparison tables and submits to the Supplies Manager and the Procurement Director. Maintains and expands the “Approved Vendors” list. Negotiates prices, if required, and prepares the relevant evaluation forms. Places orders in accordance with the approvals obtained and ensures that each purchase order is recorded to the electronic purchasing system and that the supply cycle operates effectively. Cooperates with the Forwarding department for the delivery of the supplies onboard the vessel and instructs suppliers, Master and Agents accordingly. Verifies completion of delivery and collects all supporting documentation. Checks the relevant invoices and attaches the vessels’ confirmation of receipt for relevant supplies in order to proceed with the payment process. Follows up until the vessel confirms that the supplies have been delivered onboard. Creates and maintains systems, subsystems, items and the database for supplies in Navision application electronic system. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably in Shipping. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. Fluency in English. MS Office literacy. Responsibilities: Selects qualified crew according to all standard operating procedures and guidelines of STCW & flag state- vessel requirements and plans their assignment on specific vessels. Maintains personal medical and training records as well as certification data for all vessels’ personnel. Arranges all visa / immigration formalities needed in order to ensure their safe embarkation or disembarkation via communication with agents and/or manning agencies. Administers all necessary traveling (i.e., ticketing, visa, immigration etc.) of crew and/or superintendents. Plans crew changes at convenient ports. Enters all crew-related information into company’s database. Arranges Skype interviews and briefings. Deals with accounting crew matters concerning monthly home allotments / SOA / FWA / cash advances / MPOs. Checks invoices / DA / SOA regarding crew expenses. Responsibilities: Supervises all technical aspects of the Fleet’s assigned vessels, including maintenance, repairs, safety and environmental protection, ensuring they are carried out in an efficient way according to the international legislation. Controls and manages fleet’s technical annual budget. Monitors the superintendent engineers’ vessel visits in order to check and evaluate their condition and maintenance progress; to issue further instructions on maintenance and repair activities and; to file, record and report findings to the Technical Manager and Director. Reviews quotations and evaluates the purchase orders for all technical spares, supplies, repairs, lubricants and engine stores to assure the vessels’ needs are covered within the budget and the expected quality and quantity. Cooperates closely with the claims department for the process of damage claims and supports the Claims department providing all the relevant technical information. Participates in the Emergency Response Team and informs immediately the Technical Manager and Director in case of emergency. Coordinates and liaises with other departments to collectively provide an efficient ship management service. Visits the managed vessels, if required, to assess their condition during PSC and/or attends dry-dock and repairs in order to monitor their progress and ensure their effective completion. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Naval Architecture with minimum 8 years of experience as Superintendent Engineer in a shipping company with bulk carriers or minimum 2 years of sea-going experience on bulk carriers as chief engineer and 4 years of experience as Superintendent Engineer. Previous office experience as technical fleet manager will be an asset. Ability to direct, motivate, and lead superintendent engineers, officers and coordinators. Ability to monitor changing legislation and international requirements and/or developments in the Marine industry. Fluency in English. Computer literate. Responsibilities: Communicates to Masters Voyage instructions, port requirements, local regulations, cargo requirements and precautions, ship’s charter party description and applicable clauses. Checks cargo docs, LOIs, bunker requirements and authorizes bunker invoices. Responsibilities: Organizes and implements courses of action for matters of technical nature arising onboard vessels. Instructs, coordinates and monitors works / repairs. Follows up on the maintenance status, condition and operation of assigned vessels and co-operates with the crew, in order to ensure that assigned vessels are operating in a safe and efficient manner. Attends vessels and periodically sails on-board to ensure the technical condition of the equipment. Monitors and verifies vessel’s performance, supervises repairs, reports findings, follows-up closure of defects etc. Provides training and technical advice to shipboard personnel, as necessary. Implements effectively preventive maintenance of ship’s hull, main machinery, deck machinery, etc. Monitors Class and Flag State requirements and plans required surveys accordingly. Deals with any damage repairs or modifications, preserving the vessels commercial competence. Monitors all technical problems, major defects and follows-up, until corrective action is verified. Controls and monitors the lub-oil and bunker quality and consumption. Prepares repairs / conversions, dry-docking, special surveys, damage and voyage repairs, and specifications and supervises the execution of all such works. Attends delivery of new acquisitions. Qualifications / Experience: 1. Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture and minimum 6 years of office experience or Chief Engineer’s license, minimum 3 years of sea service as Chief Engineer and 1 year of office experience as Superintendent Engineer. 2. Responsibilities: Supports all quality, health, safety, security and environmental matters. Assists his/her supervisor to follow up on the implementation of the emergency response plans, the ISM / ISPS / MLC codes, as well as of any other international or local regulations. Provides vessels with class and flag certificates necessary for trading, as instructed by his/her supervisor. Implements the Environmental Management System (EMS) and promotes the environmental awareness of the vessels and the office personnel. Monitors that the Company’s Safety and Environmental protection systems, policies and working instructions are properly and effectively implemented. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field. Postgraduate degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field will be considered an asset. Responsibilities: Organizes and coordinates the purchasing of spare parts required by the Technical Department, in an efficient and effective manner and based on the technical specifications. More specifically, raises requisitions in cooperation with the technical department and after getting their advice. Obtains quotations from the “approved” suppliers, prepares comparison tables and submits to the Spare Parts Manager and the Procurement Director. Searches market for new suppliers, if required, and maintains the “Approved Vendors” list. Negotiates prices and prepares the relevant evaluation forms. Places orders in accordance to the approvals obtained and ensures that each purchase order is recorded to the electronic purchasing system and the supply cycle operates effectively. Coordinates with the Forwarding department for the delivery of spare parts on board the vessel and instructs the suppliers, the Master and the Agents regarding the delivery point and method of delivery. Verifies completion of delivery, collects all the supporting documentation, checks invoices and submits them to the Spare Parts Manager for approval. Works closely with the Invoice Checking department on the suppliers’ invoices and attaches the vessels’ confirmation of receipt for relevant spare parts, in order to proceed with the payment process. Checks if the spare parts’ cost has been amended by the agents at the ports, so as to ensure that the spare parts delivery is correct. Follows up until the vessel confirms that the spares have been delivered onboard. Cooperates with the Technical department for the smooth and prompt delivery of requested spare parts to the vessels. Creates and maintains systems, subsystems, items and spare parts database in Navision application. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably in shipping. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. Fluency in English. MS Office literacy. Knowledge of Navision will be an asset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities: Performs shipyard cost analysis by comparing various recent or extra DD quotations. Creates and maintains a database with offers in order to be used for shipyard negotiations. Assists the Senior D/D Coordinator in maintaining and monitoring the status of each N/B project through daily communication with site offices and the yards. Contributes in the preparation of ship specifications taking into account all available information from ship and attendance reports. Supports the Senior D/D Coordinator in coordinating the D/D scheduling in conjunction with the Operations and Technical Departments. Compares various costs of supplies and services that appear during DD and keeps a record of the quotes received. Assists in the plan approval process for new vessels and reviews ship’s plans as offered by consultants. Qualifications / Experience: A University degree in Engineering and/or Naval Architecture A Master’s degree in Engineering, Shipping, Maritime Economics or Naval Architecture will be considered an asset.
