The Scope of the position: As an experienced Structure & Project Finance Professional, you will play a key role in structuring and managing complex project finance transactions and Public-Private Partnership initiatives. As a specialist in this field, you will contribute to the successful execution of our strategic projects, ensuring financial viability, risk mitigation, and adherence to regulatory frameworks Duties and responsibilities: Asses new projects from a financial perspective Participate in bid preparation of large and complex Public-Private Partnerships projects. Support in building and customizing financial models, including running scenarios and sensitivities and liaising/coordinating with financial advisors in model build/model audit assignments. Coordinate project finance raising and closing process (lenders, lenders’ advisors and sponsor advisors). Contribute from a financial perspective in the drafting of financing documents (term sheets, facility agreements and others). Provide input on project document drafting, review and negotiations (PPP agreements, design-construction contracts, operation & maintenance contracts). Support from a financial perspective the lenders’ due diligence process. Contribute to the preparation of internal presentations and memoranda for internal processes and approvals. Maintain knowledge of developments in the PPP, RES and/ or infrastructure sector. Job qualifications and requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or Business Administration. 2-4 years of prior experience in project financing, with direct involvement in PPP and/or RES bids and financial closings. Strong understanding and familiarity with financing and project documentation for PPP projects. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent understanding of financial statements, cashflow and returns analysis and accounting concepts. Very good numeracy and financial modelling skills. Strong writing and presentation skills. The company has a combined portfolio of Wind, Solar and Energy Storage projects of a total capacity of 2,5GW with 200MW of BESS and windfarm projects currently under development/construction. Scope of Position: Supporting the construction RFP (request for proposal) process for BESS projects by creating comprehensive technical scope of work documents and by conducting technical evaluation of bids, including grid interconnection design details. Continuously working with development, construction, project management and procurement of BESS projects for their optimization and LCOS (Levelized Cost of Storage) reduction. Researching latest trends in storage technologies. Supporting all the procedures (RFQ, RFP, proposals analysis, power market studies evaluation, market research etc) regarding the optimization of RES and BESS plants development. Providing technical support regarding substation design, grid studies and engineering solutions for the connection of projects to the grid. Supporting the regulatory and licensing process for utility-scale storage and other RES plants including grid interconnection. Keeping up-to-date with the amendments of the Hellenic Electricity Grid Code and the regulatory framework relevant for the connection and operation of energy projects to the grid. Qualifications & Experience At least 2 years’ experience in the Renewable/BESS energy sector. University Degree in Electrical Engineering or another relevant field. (Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy / Energy Storage Systems / Power Markets will be considered as a plus). Familiarity with aspects of RES and/or BESS project development. Indicative: design, budgeting, power engineering studies, licensing processes and safety policies, construction, transportation of equipment, energy management. Proficient computer skills in MS Office and CAD/GIS Software. Power Engineering Software Package (e.g. PSS/E) or PVsyst will be considered as an asset. Excellent written & verbal communication skills in Greek & English. Driver’s License. Ability to travel. You’ll be working closely with our local country teams, their respective Merchant Partners on the platform and other regional & global stakeholders to push on performance, manage complex operational processes and develop solutions. In this role, you are expected to take full ownership of the operational results in New Verticals within Wolt’s South operating region, working closely with our local Account Managers and the operational teams of our Merchants. Our team will be small and spread out but will work closely together, consisting of one Global and two Regional Heads of Retail Operations.
