Monitors and verifies vessel’s performance, supervises repairs, reports findings, follows-up closure of defects etc. Provides training and technical advice to shipboard personnel, as necessary. Implements effectively preventive maintenance of ship’s hull, main machinery, deck machinery, etc. Monitors Class and Flag State requirements and plans required surveys accordingly. Deals with any damage repairs or modifications, preserving the vessels commercial competence. Monitors all technical problems, major defects and follows-up, until corrective action is verified. Controls and monitors the lub-oil and bunker quality and consumption. Prepares repairs / conversions, dry-docking, special surveys, damage and voyage repairs, and specifications and supervises the execution of all such works. Attends delivery of new acquisitions. Qualifications / Experience: 1. Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture and minimum 6 years of office experience or Chief Engineer’s license, minimum 3 years of sea service as Chief Engineer and 1 year of office experience as Superintendent Engineer. 2. Responsibilities: Supports all quality, health, safety, security and environmental matters. Assists his/her supervisor to follow up on the implementation of the emergency response plans, the ISM / ISPS / MLC codes, as well as of any other international or local regulations. Provides vessels with class and flag certificates necessary for trading, as instructed by his/her supervisor. Implements the Environmental Management System (EMS) and promotes the environmental awareness of the vessels and the office personnel. Monitors that the Company’s Safety and Environmental protection systems, policies and working instructions are properly and effectively implemented. Monitors and supplies the service of alcohol meters. Arranges and follows up on fresh water and crew drug and alcohol tests. Keeps record of vessels’ logbooks and endorsements. Enters all MSQ data in the Company’s electronic system. Inserts department’s invoices in the system and follows up on DAs. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field. Postgraduate degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field will be considered an asset. Responsibilities: Organizes and coordinates the purchasing of spare parts required by the Technical Department, in an efficient and effective manner and based on the technical specifications. More specifically, raises requisitions in cooperation with the technical department and after getting their advice. Obtains quotations from the “approved” suppliers, prepares comparison tables and submits to the Spare Parts Manager and the Procurement Director. Searches market for new suppliers, if required, and maintains the “Approved Vendors” list. Negotiates prices and prepares the relevant evaluation forms. Places orders in accordance to the approvals obtained and ensures that each purchase order is recorded to the electronic purchasing system and the supply cycle operates effectively. Coordinates with the Forwarding department for the delivery of spare parts on board the vessel and instructs the suppliers, the Master and the Agents regarding the delivery point and method of delivery. Verifies completion of delivery, collects all the supporting documentation, checks invoices and submits them to the Spare Parts Manager for approval. Works closely with the Invoice Checking department on the suppliers’ invoices and attaches the vessels’ confirmation of receipt for relevant spare parts, in order to proceed with the payment process. Checks if the spare parts’ cost has been amended by the agents at the ports, so as to ensure that the spare parts delivery is correct. Follows up until the vessel confirms that the spares have been delivered onboard. Cooperates with the Technical department for the smooth and prompt delivery of requested spare parts to the vessels. Creates and maintains systems, subsystems, items and spare parts database in Navision application. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably in shipping. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. Fluency in English. MS Office literacy. Knowledge of Navision will be an asset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities: Performs shipyard cost analysis by comparing various recent or extra DD quotations. Creates and maintains a database with offers in order to be used for shipyard negotiations. Assists the Senior D/D Coordinator in maintaining and monitoring the status of each N/B project through daily communication with site offices and the yards. Contributes in the preparation of ship specifications taking into account all available information from ship and attendance reports. Supports the Senior D/D Coordinator in coordinating the D/D scheduling in conjunction with the Operations and Technical Departments. Compares various costs of supplies and services that appear during DD and keeps a record of the quotes received. Assists in the plan approval process for new vessels and reviews ship’s plans as offered by consultants. Qualifications / Experience: A University degree in Engineering and/or Naval Architecture A Master’s degree in Engineering, Shipping, Maritime Economics or Naval Architecture will be considered an asset. Minimum 2 years of experience in the technical department and/or technical projects of a shipping company. Excellent organization and communication skills. Fluency in English. Computer literate.

Responsibilities: Installs, configures and troubleshoots laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications). Monitors IT systems’ performance and ensures system availability and reliability. Performs system and network updates/upgrades. Maintains IT security and backup solutions. Is responsible to ensure Master’s and Chief Engineer’s familiarization on company’s IT systems. Travels on board for maintenance or troubleshooting reasons, whenever required. Handles invoices’ checking, reconciliation, processing and filing for all vendors and technical / solution suppliers (office communications, vessels’ satellite and mobile communications, ICT equipment, procurement). Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any similar field. Post-graduate studies in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset. Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in shipping and knowledge of ships automation systems will be considered an asset. Fluency in English. Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities: Checks overdue works for all vessels so as to avoid system failures due to the lack of maintenance. Also, creates vessels structure in the ERP (i.e., workflow tree, corresponding manufacturers, models, serial number, works & forms) in order to apply Company’s official PMS. Prepares Vessels’ PMS for external or internal audits by checking the reported works and the respective forms in order to avoid any deficiencies and maintain vessels’ high performance. Creates and maintains various reports on a regular or ad hoc basis regarding critical components for statistical and reporting purposes such as OPEX, budget analysis etc. and for the monitoring of PMS performance and the archiving of technical information. Provides training and technical advice to the shipboard personnel. Supports the technical department by utilizing data collection services, gathering data for all fleet and assisting in the decision making and budget control processes. Provides guidance in terms of precise spare parts implementation in Navision (PMS Tool) and contributes to the smooth operation of the supply cycle. Enters data in Navision to allow better maintenance & budget control. Provides any other related assistance to the Technical Director if/when requested. Qualifications / Experience: Degree in Engineering and/or Naval Architecture. Minimum 2 years of experience in the Technical department of a shipping company. Master’s degree in Engineering, Shipping, Maritime Economics or Naval Architecture will be considered an asset; Capability of data management and database maintenance. Responsibilities: Assists and provides support to the Technical Superintendents in organizing, coordinating, monitoring and following-up outstanding items related to the projects. Assists in organizing new projects and also maintains project plans and project schedules. Provides technical support and any additional technical documentation and assistance to shipboard personnel for the proper operation and maintenance of the vessels’ machinery and equipment. Communicates with service providers and / or workshops if necessary, prepares comparison lists and submits for approvals, checks the invoices and closes the cases. Travels abroad and visits the vessels to monitor the project’s progress, budget, scope and scheduling. Familiarizes and updates new shipboard personnel that may need to deal with any ongoing (or forthcoming) projects. Inputs the various technical information, service reports in the company’s system, as well as information related to purchasing, invoicing, certification and various technical matters. Checks project-related invoices, obtains the necessary approvals and follows-up with their payment. Assists in arrangement of the new equipment certification upon completion of installation and also files all forms and any relevant technical documentation.  Follows-up on vessels’ technical correspondence. Provides any other related assistance as required by the Project Manager or the Technical Director. Qualifications / Experience: University degree in Engineering or Naval Architecture. Responsibilities: Regularly visits company’s vessels to report on their condition and/or supervise repairs. Performs riding attendance as defined by the Maintenance Manager, including preparation for third-party inspections (e.g., terminals, port state, class, flag, P&I), always ensuring compliance with the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards. Monitors the repair and maintenance of vessels, offering similar support to the rest of the fleet vessels.  Attends dry dockings to ensure all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or Technical SupEng are carried out to specification, ensuring the vessel is delivered in seaworthy condition and ready in all respects. Assists in preparing dry dock and repair specifications. Provides technical support to the personnel onboard. Attends new acquisitions and vessel sales to new buyers. Travels abroad to ports frequented by the company's vessels to conduct inspections, assist onboard personnel, and monitor the preparation of third-party inspections. Qualifications / Experience: Chief Engineer’s or 2nd Engineer’s license and minimum 3 years of sea service at these positions. Office experience as Superintendent Engineer will be considered an asset. Fluency in English. Computer literate. Travel mobility.

Responsibilities: Conducts Internal ISM/ISPS Audits and MLC inspections to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established controls and procedures. Prepares the vessels as required in order to comply with international auditing requirements. Supports the vessels through External ISM/ISPS Audits and MLC inspections. Drafts the Internal Audit plan/charter and prepares Audit reports. Keeps records of imposed Non Conformities/Observations from Internal & External Audits and follows up corrective actions in order to enhance the implementation of respective requirements. Monitors certificates, Internal & External Audit reports through Navision in order to ensure for the validity onboard the vessels and the will be carried out within the required interval. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field. Postgraduate degree in Maritime Studies or in a relevant field will be considered an asset. Minimum 3 years of experience at a similar position in a shipping company. Knowledge of applicable ISM / ISPS / MLC standards. Certified Auditor from recognized training center. Computer literate. Fluency in English. Excellent communication skills. Ability to monitor and stay abreast of developments in legislation and international requirements changes.

Responsibilities: Handles the assigned fleet’s C/P claims (off-hire / demurrage / other disputes) presented by / or to Charterers, collaborating with the Post Fixtures Officers team, as required. Controls hire and freight collection. Handles / follows up on undisputed balances, invoices against charterers’ hire statements and funds received from charterers and their balances. Monitors vessels’ voyage and daily operations to follow up on fixtures and potential claims. Prepares weekly and other relevant reports, as requested by the Post Fixtures Manager or the top management team. Checks and submits for approval the brokerage commission invoices and forwards same to the Accounting department for settlement. Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor degree in shipping, law, chartering or any relevant field. Minimum 4 years of experience in post-fixing and claims handling at a ship-owning company, preferably with bulkers. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Charter Party clauses and claims handling.
