What you'll do
- Check overdue works for all vessels to avoid system failures due to lack of maintenance
- Create vessels structure in ERP including workflow tree, manufacturers, models, serial number, works and forms
- Prepare vessels' PMS for audits by verifying reported works and forms to avoid deficiencies
- Create and maintain various reports on critical components, OPEX, budget analysis, and PMS performance
- Provide training and technical advice to shipboard personnel
- Support the technical department with data collection and assist in decision making and budget control
- Guide spare parts implementation in Navision and contribute to supply cycle operation
- Enter data in Navision to improve maintenance and budget control
- Provide assistance to the Technical Director as needed
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Knowledge of PMS and repair and maintenance planning
- Experience with Navision and data management
- Skills in database maintenance and reporting
- Technical advice capabilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities:
- Checks overdue works for all vessels so as to avoid system failures due to the lack of maintenance. Also, creates vessels structure in the ERP (i.e., workflow tree, corresponding manufacturers, models, serial number, works & forms) in order to apply Company’s official PMS.
- Prepares Vessels’ PMS for external or internal audits by checking the reported works and the respective forms in order to avoid any deficiencies and maintain vessels’ high performance.
- Creates and maintains various reports on a regular or ad hoc basis regarding critical components for statistical and reporting purposes such as OPEX, budget analysis etc. and for the monitoring of PMS performance and the archiving of technical information.
- Provides training and technical advice to the shipboard personnel.
- Supports the technical department by utilizing data collection services, gathering data for all fleet and assisting in the decision making and budget control processes.
- Provides guidance in terms of precise spare parts implementation in Navision (PMS Tool) and contributes to the smooth operation of the supply cycle.
- Enters data in Navision to allow better maintenance & budget control.
- Provides any other related assistance to the Technical Director if/when requested.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Degree in Engineering and/or Naval Architecture.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Technical department of a shipping company.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Shipping, Maritime Economics or Naval Architecture will be considered an asset;
- Capability of data management and database maintenance.
- Experience on Navision system desirable.
- Fluency in English.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Team player.
