What you'll do
- Perform material handling and operate materials synthesis equipment such as shear mixers, ball mills, muffle furnaces, and tube furnaces
- Perform wet chemistry techniques including agitation, filtration, and solvent evaporation
- Conduct ceramic fabrication processes such as slurry mixing and thermal processing
- Operate ceramic material testing equipment for routine performance evaluation
- Identify and report anomalies in samples, processes, or test results to engineers
- Maintain lab equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized work environment
