What you'll do
- Handle fleet Charter Party claims, including off-hire, demurrage and other disputes, with the Post Fixtures Officers team
- Control hire and freight collection
- Follow up on undisputed balances, invoice charterers’ hire statements and track received funds
- Monitor vessels’ voyage and daily operations to follow up on fixtures and potential claims
- Prepare weekly and other relevant reports
- Check brokerage commission invoices, submit them for approval and forward them to Accounting
Key requirements
- 4+ years' experience
- Post-fixtures operations and maritime voyage operations
- Claims handling, demurrage claims and off-hire claims
- Charter Party clauses and dispute resolution
- Hire and freight collection, charterers’ hire statements and brokerage commission invoice processing
- Negotiation and reporting
- Maritime shipping, MS Office and English
- Shipping and Maritime Studies / Law / Maritime Studies / Any Field
