What you'll do
- Provide support, advice, and assistance on electrical matters for vessel operations following company policies and maritime regulations
- Assist and guide crew in effective implementation of vessel Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
- Attend vessels at ports and sail periodically to ensure proper PMS implementation and assist with scheduled and unscheduled electrical works
- Issue attendance reports commenting on vessel condition, equipment, and crew performance
- Prepare repairs, conversions, dry-docking, special surveys, damage and voyage repairs, and supervise electrical works execution
- Collaborate with Technical superintendents to optimize vessel performance
- Organize repairs at workshops in cooperation with Technical superintendents
- Assist PMS team with record keeping of electrical instruments and equipment onboard
