What you'll do
- Establish, monitor, and enforce data governance policies and standards
- Own and maintain the data governance framework, accountability models, and RACI structures
- Drive metadata ownership and promote data governance practices across the organization
- Assess and plan the governance roadmap, including capacity, dependencies, and parallel workstreams
- Define team ways of working and collaborate with other data teams
- Drive awareness, training, and adoption of governance practices
- Embed governance into delivery processes across the organization
- Define, refine, and prioritize policies covering cataloguing, lineage, privacy, security, and data quality
- Ensure policy compliance and oversee sign-off of governance deliverables
- Own governance outcomes and escalate and resolve cross-team conflicts
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Data governance principles, frameworks, ownership and stewardship models, and RACI accountability structures
- Data governance policy design, data quality management, data cataloguing, and data lineage
- Privacy and compliance
- Stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution
- Roadmap planning and prioritization
- Cross-functional collaboration, training, and change adoption
- Any Field
