About the job
As a Junior Product Manager for Stationery at Public, you will support the development, management, and growth of the stationery product category. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Stores to ensure the successful execution of product strategies, assortment planning, and promotional activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and commercially driven individual looking to grow within a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
Support the management of the stationery product portfolio, including assortment planning and lifecycle management
Assist in the introduction and launch of new products, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams
Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks
Contribute to pricing strategies and promotional planning
Collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure effective product positioning
Analyze competitor activity and market insights to support category growth
Prepare reports, product briefs, and presentations for internal stakeholders
Ensure product data accuracy across systems and support operational processes
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the purchasing department of a commercial company
Strong interest in retail and product management, ideally within stationery or FMCG categories
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
