What you'll do
- Ensure smooth checkout operations with speed, accuracy, and quality customer service
- Coordinate, guide, and support the checkout team, including training and performance support
- Monitor daily cash register reports, verify transactions, and manage register-closing procedures
- Implement transaction, security, and cash-management policies and procedures
- Support the team in resolving checkout issues and customer complaints
- Oversee secure and accurate cash handling, including deposits, refunds, and reconciliation
- Use POS and retail technology tools to monitor transactions and performance indicators
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate checkout-related records
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a professional checkout area
Key requirements
- Cash transaction management, cash handling, and transaction verification and reconciliation
- Point-of-sale systems, computer literacy, and cash register reporting
- Team coordination, team coaching and training, and customer service
- Organization, problem solving, and policy and procedure implementation
- Accuracy and attention to detail, plus inventory counting
- English language
